DID YOU KNOW?  -- Three years before the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide, Serbs torched Bosniak villages and killed at least 3,166 Bosniaks around Srebrenica. In 1993, the UN described the besieged situation in Srebrenica as a "slow-motion process of genocide." In July 1995, Serbs forcibly expelled 25,000 Bosniaks, brutally raped many women and girls, and systematically killed 8,000+ men and boys (DNA confirmed).

PHOTO OF BLOODY BABY IN SREBRENICA

It is no secret that Serb forces deliberately targeted and killed women and children in Srebrenica during the brutal siege of this enclave. For example, the April 1993 Srebrenica Children Massacre is one of many examples of Serbian brutality. It is also not secret that many babies succumbed to the heat and lack of medical supplies during the siege and fall of Srebrenica (1992-1995).

The following photograph from July 1995 shows Srebrenica refugees seeking safety near a UN compound in Potocari. Baby in woman's arms has blood all over his/her face. We don't know the identity of this woman or her baby, nor do we know the source of this photograph. If you know who took the photograph or the identity of this woman, please let us know by commenting, perhaps we could interview her and get an update what happened to the baby. Thank you for your assistance.

SERB ATTACK ON SREBRENICA (VIDEO, 70 MINUTES)

Video (length: 1 hour and 10 minutes) shows Serb Army's attack on Srebrenica in July of 1995. Also 'omnipresent' is a master of deception - General Ratko Mladic. Mladic is truly one of the finest con-man, perhaps even more convincing that Joseph Goebbels. He spoke against the war and violence while at the same time committing a wide scale atrocities. After giving promise to people of Srebrenica that he won't harm them if they lay down their arms (which they did), he proceeded to kill them. Five hundred children (individuals ranging from babies to 17 years of age) were killed; hundreds of women and girls were brutally raped; some 8,000 boys and men were murdered; no less than 25,000 refugees were bussed and expelled from Srebrenica to make it ethnically pure. The footage was edited by the Serbian TV. Some scenes are already in possession of the Hague Tribunal; other scenes may or may not be.

Serbian TV ensured to 'insert' a few photos of civilians carrying guns, possibly during the siege of Srebrenica when Serbs savagely slaughtered women and children in the enclave, but the rest of scenes in this video speak for themsevels and focus on July 1995. Serbs were responsible for 99% of all war crimes in and around Srebrenica between 1992 and 1995. Watch it for yourself (FOR BACKGROUND ON SREBRENICA, HOW IT ALL STARTED, READ HERE)

NOTE: All genocide denial and Islamophobic comments are automatically deleted out of respect for the victims and the survivors of the 1992-1995 Bosnian Genocide.

DAY 2: MLADIC'S BOSNIAN GENOCIDE TRIAL, HOURS OF OPENING STATEMENTS

On day 2 of Ratko Mladic’s Bosnian genocide trial at the Hague, prosecutors focused on the 1995 Srebrenica genocide. (watch video Part I and II of May 17, 2012).

Unexpectedly, judge suspended Ratko Mladic's genocide and war crimes trial indefinitely Thursday after prosecutors failed to disclose thousands of documents to the former Bosnian Serb military chief's defense team — a ruling that could delay the trial for months. Presiding judge Alphons Orie said he was delaying the Yugoslav war crimes tribunal case due to "significant disclosure errors" by prosecutors, who are obliged to share all evidence with Mladic's lawyers.

SERB SOLDIERS SLAUGHTERED BABY IN SREBRENICA, RECOUNTS SURVIVOR

In this Wednesday, May 9, 2012 photo Bosnian Muslim woman Munira Subasic reacts during interview to the AP in Sarajevo, Bosnia. She remembers, too, the arrogant swagger as he barked murderous orders to his troops that showed his promise to be a lie. HATE CRIME: SERBS DESECRATE MUSLIM GRAVEYARD NEAR SREBRENICA

Serbian extremists near Srebrenica vandalized Muslim
graveyard of Bosniak victims who were killed in the first
days of the Bosnian war, in May 1992.
Sarajevo daily "Avaz" reported that Muslim graveyard of Bosniak civilians was desecrated. Graveyard "Veljaci" contains remains of thousands of Bosniak women, children and elderly slaughtered by Serbs during the 1992 ethnic cleansing campaign of Bratunac and Srebrenica. Before 1992, Bratunac was an ethnic Bosniak majority municipality..'"Avaz" reports that Muslim headstones were desecrated and placed on top of each other to simulate Christian crosses. In the vicinity of the cemetery, where the incident occurred, there were 34 'tabuts' (coffins) with the remains of victims, most of them women, elderly and children.

SERBS INSPIRED BREIVIK TO KILL 77, INJURE 151 IN NORWAY

Anders Breivik
Anders Behring Breivik saw inspiration for the mass murder of Norwegian youth in the Serbian "heroism." Looking back, with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in Sarajevo, Serbs triggered World War I and subsequent murder of millions of innocent people. Then in World War II, which was consequence of World War I, ultranationalist Serbs joined Nazis and hunted down Jews and Bosnian Muslims for extinction.

Then some fifty years after the defeat of fascism in Europe, Serbs held Sarajevo and Srebrenica under the longest -- and the most brutal -- siege in European history. In Sarajevo alone, they killed more than 11,000 people, 1,500 of them children (photo album #1 and photo album #2).

From 1992 to 1995, Serb forces held Srebrenica under the siege killing Bosniak women and children as they pleased (photo album #3). Finally in July 1995, they overran Srebrenica and murdered 8,372 men and boys. For Breivik, these Serbs were heroes - and he claims he even met with one of commanders who, police suspect, was involved in the 1995 Srebrenica massacre.

GENOCIDE DENIERS TO TAKE POLITICAL CONTROL OF SREBRENICA IN UPCOMING MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS

SREBRENICA: Graveyard of Bosniak civilians who were burnt alive by Serb forces in May 1992 during the First Srebrenica Massacre (more than three years before the Srebrenica Genocide)

Federal News Agency (FENA) published excerpts of a story published by The Sydney Morning Herald. "As warlord Mladic goes on trial, Srebrenica will fall to his followers" draws attention to the upcoming municipal elections in Srebrenica (read background). Journalist Ian Taylor writes:
"RATKO MLADIC, the Bosnian Serb warlord of the 1990s, goes on trial for genocide next week at the UN war crimes tribunal [but his] followers are poised finally to take political power in the small hill town whose name has joined the likes of Guernica or Oradour in the horrors of history lists.... During the war, Srebrenica was a Muslim enclave in an area controlled by the Serbs until Mladic's forces overran it in July 1995 and murdered 8100 men and boys in just a few weeks. Srebrenica remains a form of enclave, a Bosnian-Muslim-governed island in the Serb half of Bosnia... [to continue reading in English, click here.]

BACKGROUND ON SREBRENICA, HOW IT ALL STARTED

Hague Judgments Provide Incomplete
Background on Srebrenica

The International Criminal Tribunal focused its attention almost entirely on the case of the fall of Srebrenica and the systematic execution of thousands prisoners of war. But it ignored the Serb war crimes at Srebrenica that preceded the fall of this ‘UN-protected’ enclave…. Where other Srebrenica-related judgments fail to provide a broader perspective of events leading to the Srebrenica massacre, Orić’s judgment succeeds…
No serious researcher will ever be able to find all-encompassing information, in the Srebrenica-related judgments, about the serious human rights violations that preceded the first genocide on European soil since the Second World War. The world’s attention, then and later, concentrated on the 1995 Srebrenica massacre – the last act of a long-drawn out tragedy written by the Army of the Republika Srpska under direction of the Bosnian Serb leadership, with military, financial and logistical help from their brethren in Serbia.

SIGNIFICANT FACTUAL ERROR ON HAGUE TRIBUNAL'S MAP OF INTERACTIVE CASES

It is not true that  "Muslim units" burnt and destroyed Serb villages Fakovići, Bjelovac, Kravica and Ježestica. The trial judgment of Naser Orić confirms that "Muslim units" were not responsible for the 'destruction' of these notorious Serbian military bases around Srebrenica.

Significant and Offensive Factual Error on the Web Site of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia

THE FOLLOWING LETTER WAS SENT BY DANIEL TOLJAGA TO THE INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL TRIBUNAL'S PRESS OFFICE ON NOVEMBER 11, 2011. TO THIS DAY, THEY TOOK NO EFFORTS TO CORRECT IT.

To the ICTY Press Office
To the Office of the Prosecutor
The judicial findings of the Hague Tribunal are not definite and not all-encompassing. A large number of war crimes committed against the Bosniak population of the Srebrenica region — especially in a period between April 1992 and April 1993 — were never prosecuted by your office.

A JEWISH & BOSNIAN MUSLIM PROF WRITE A BOOK ON THE EXPERIENCE OF GENOCIDE AND HEALING

"Wounded I Am More Awake" is a book written by Prof. Julia Lieblich (Jewish) and Prof. Esad Boskailo (Bosnian Muslim).

"I have just turned the last page. I feel drained, enraged, despairing for humanity -- but also enriched, confirmed, and, in a way, elated. This unlikely couple, a journalist who wrote the story and a psychiatrist who lived the story, have accomplished something that is remarkable and necessary. They relieved and recorded one man's survival of genocide in a narrative that conveys such well-chosen detail that you smell the stench and sweat of bodies in a concentration camp, but you have just enough air to breathe and distance to carry you through the darkness."

"We must acknowledge the extremes of human evil, and face the history of collective atrocity. We must understand the impact of cruelty and loss on those who escape and endure. And the only way to learn the hardest lessons of inhumanity is for the tale to be told so well that we permit ourselves to take
