DID YOU KNOW?  -- Three years before the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide, Serbs torched Bosniak villages and killed at least 3,166 Bosniaks around Srebrenica. In 1993, the UN described the besieged situation in Srebrenica as a "slow-motion process of genocide." In July 1995, Serbs forcibly expelled 25,000 Bosniaks, brutally raped many women and girls, and systematically killed 8,000+ men and boys (DNA confirmed).

THANK YOU NICK COHEN

From time to time, we expose incompetent journalists, but we also honor those who deserve respect from the public -- those who tell the truth (because personal opinions do not matter, do they?).

British journalist Nick Cohen deserves respect for telling the truth and challenging Srebrenica Genocide deniers in his latest piece published by The Guardian. Cohen's paternal grandfather was Jewish, the son of immigrants from Tsarist Russia at the time of the pogroms.

We must honor people who defend Srebrenica. But we also need to encourage journalists to speak of the Bosnian Genocide. Former Serb General Ratko Mladic is on trial charged for genocide in several Bosniak municipalities -- not just Srebrenica

Please head to The Guardian to read Nick Cohen's latest piece on Srebrenica: "Decline and fall of the puppetmasters." (Note: Cohen also uses correct terminology when refering to our people. He differentiates between the Bosniaks and between the so called "Muslims" which is very important to us. We are not a "religious group" but ethnic/national group). Thank you Nick Cohen.
