DID YOU KNOW?  -- Three years before the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide, Serbs torched Bosniak villages and killed at least 3,166 Bosniaks around Srebrenica. In 1993, the UN described the besieged situation in Srebrenica as a "slow-motion process of genocide." In July 1995, Serbs forcibly expelled 25,000 Bosniaks, brutally raped many women and girls, and systematically killed 8,000+ men and boys (DNA confirmed).

BOSNIAKS BLINDFOLDED, HANDS TIED, MASSACRED IN SREBRENICA

The following photos testify about the horrible treatment of at least 8,372 Bosniak men, boys and the elderly during the 1995 Srebrenica genocide. The massacre by definition is a brutal slaughter of a large number of people. In the case of Srebrenica, summary executions and massacres of the Bosniak civilians and some POWs culminated to genocide. Serb forces started widespread massacres of Bosnian Muslim civilians - women, children and the elderly - in 1992 (e.g. Glogova Massacre and Zaklopaca Massacre). By July 1995, the massacres culminated to Genocide. The following photos show evidence that Srebrenica victims were blindfolded with hands tied behind the back, then summarily executed and dumped into mass graves.
