DID YOU KNOW?  -- Three years before the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide, Serbs torched Bosniak villages and killed at least 3,166 Bosniaks around Srebrenica. In 1993, the UN described the besieged situation in Srebrenica as a "slow-motion process of genocide." In July 1995, Serbs forcibly expelled 25,000 Bosniaks, brutally raped many women and girls, and systematically killed 8,000+ men and boys (DNA confirmed).

GENOCIDE IS A MATTER OF LAW, NOT PROF. SCHABAS OPINION

In 2008, controversial academic, Prof. William Schabas, offered to testify in favor of Srebrenica genocide defendants in Popovic et al case, denying the genocide.

In a "Decision on the admissibility of the expert report" the Trial Chamber of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia dismissed Prof. Schabas' proposed testimony as a matter of international law, not his own opinion:

"The Trial Chamber is satisfied that Professor Schabas is as an expert in his field. However, the Chamber is of the view that the subject on which his expertise is offered in this case is a matter which falls directly within the competence of the Trial Chamber. Accordingly, neither the Report nor Professor Schabas' proposed testimony would enlighten the Trial Chamber on specific issues of a technical nature that are outside of its experience and knowledge. Expert testimony as to the legal analysis of the crime of genocide is unnecessary and would not be of benefit to the Trial Chamber. However, this finding is without prejudice to the use which may be made of the Report in the course of argument or within Final Briefs... DISPOSITION: For these reaons, pursuant to Rules 89 and 94 bis, the Trial Chamber hereby holds that the Joint Defence will not be permitted to call Professor Schabas as an expert witness, nor tender the Report as an expert report." Prof. William A. Schabas serves as a President of a controversial organization, which calls itself "International Association of Genocide Scholars." There is absolutely nothing "international" about this organization, except in a name. It's an internet group of academics who organize Biennial Conferences to gain wider recognition of genocide in Armenia. This questionable and disgraced 'international' association, led by genocide denier Prof. Schabas, does not reveal any figures as to how many paying members/supporters they really have. Perhaps the real number is "not many, if any."

Prof. William Schabas should be ashamed of himself for denying the 1995 Srebrenica genocide. Srebrenica is the most thoroughly documented case of genocide in history. Each victims has been identified through rigorous DNA analysis. Shame on you.
