DID YOU KNOW ?          -- Three years before the 1995 Srebrenica massacre, Serbs destroyed 296 Bosniak villages and killed at least 3,166 Bosniaks around Srebrenica.  In 1993, the UN described the situation in Srebrenica as a "slow-motion process of genocide." In July 1995, Serbs forcibly expelled 25,000 Bosniaks, brutally raped many women and girls, and systematically killed 8,000+ men and boys (DNA confirmed).

SREBRENICA RAPES GO UNPUNISHED

Another excellent and timely analysis by Nidzara Ahmetasevic of Balkan Insight:

"The reluctance of women survivors from the town to talk about their own sufferings – and the stigma that still surrounds rape – has allowed a grave crime to go unpunished," continue reading here.

You can also read more about the Bosnian Muslim women who were brutally raped during the Srebrenica Genocide on our blog. Here are some articles examining their fate:

This article appeared on www.balkaninsight.com today, and no sooner than that some serbofascist sympathizer had to post on it whining about that "all sources are Muslim, and nobody talks of the 3.400 Serb victims whom Naser Oric had murdered out of teh safe haven Srebrenica, a little balance here, all were aggressors and all were victims blah blah blah": I find that so incredibly disgusting. And that I will have to endure such crap all my life. How on Earth can you stand it, Daniel, after wht yu went through (and by the way: please try to understnd why someone like NiDa is embittered. Every Bosniak has reason to.)I get the impession that even the Holocaust is not so often and so blatantly denied as the anti-Bosniak genocidal crusade. Who wrote that is spitting those poor women in teh face. God forbid anyone would rape my daughter. I will stat it publicly, I would kill him with my own hands. No matter what the cost to me may be. Not even if I happened to live in Saudi Arabia and must risk being beheaded for it (but maybe they grant some leniency in such a case).
I would liek to take teh opportunity to remind y that teh Serbs will not get away with genocide. Rahmetli Alija Izetbegovic said "Bosnjacki narod nece nestati." Husein Zmaj od Bosne said "Ima i bice Bosna i Bosnjaci u njoj: Bili su prije vas i ako Bog da, bice i poslije vas." And: eventhough today teh Bosniak communities in Srebrenica, in Foca, in Visegrad have been destroyed; that was true too of the Jewish communities in Cologne, Mayence and Strasbourg and other cities through which the Crusader passed in 1099. But some 100 years later, there were again thriving Jewish communities in Germany and in France...until teh time of teh Nazis. But for hundreds of years, the ethnic cleansing was nullified. so, let us not give up hope.

@ Abdulmajid, Serbian lies about Naser Oric and '3,000' Serb victims around Srebrenica have been extensively discredited and shown to be false. According to the Research and Documentation Center,

"The allegations that Serb casualties in Bratunac, between April 1992 and December 1995 amount to over three thousand is an evident falsification of facts. The RDC's [Research and Documentation Center] research of the actual number of Serb victims in Bratunac has been the most extensive carried out in Bosnia and Herzegovina and proves that the overall number of victims is three to nine times smaller than indicated by Serbia and Montenegro.... After all the sources have been processed, cross-referenced and reviewed, the results showed that 119 civilians and 424 soldiers classified in the first group died in Batunac during the war."

@ SONNET, thank you for remembering Srebrenica. :)

Abdulmajid, I think Daniel can confirm how gradually the lie-pushers have become less and less confident and authoritative-sounding as the weight of testimonies and judgments makes it harder and harder for them to command any respect at all with their shallow pseudo-historical references.

Most of them have just become obsessive shouters and mutterers in their own unpleasant dark corner, trapped by their failure to match Daniel's constant challenges to their mistruths.

Dear Daniel, I know, and every decent human being knows; the Serbofascists will however repeat the Milivoje Ivanisevic propaganda lie all the time. I was already getting used to it, but that somebody says that to try and relativisze the horrible crime of rape against Bosniak women after teh fall of Srebrenica (how many it were we will never know; I estimate it at least at 1000; maybe more, and certainly allthe most beautiful and young girls among them. Now I would not dream of doing something so hideous to any girl, even idf she were Swerb - but if she starts blabbing this Milivoje Ivanisevic propaganda lie, I 'd certainly lose my temper and slap her.)If only for that repluka srpska should be made to disappear; maybe then all this insulting babble would stop, at least for some time. And I believe that Bosniak smust take back by all and any means teh territories stolen from them, and that only such Bosnian Serbs should be allowed to live in Bosnia who stood for, and were willing to risk their lives for it in its darkest hour, those who stand for Bosnia now, and those who honestly and unequivocally distance themselves from the genocidal anti-Bosniak crusade. As for those who don't, let not even their names remain.
Let us see, and indeed hope that this 15th commemoration of the Srebrenica Genocide will pas without any ugly or insulting incidents.
But remember, Bosnia is small. The names and faces of the genocidal criminals are well known. And if they can't be made to face justice, reassure them for a while, and then let the blood of their victims come down on their heads.

Ah, unfortunately the guys at Balkaninsight have moved the article to their Premium section, so it is no longer possible to read it nor to comment on it; while those serbofascists who have a subscription still can. Thanks a bundle, I think. Dang.
