DID YOU KNOW?  -- Three years before the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide, Serbs torched Bosniak villages and killed at least 3,166 Bosniaks around Srebrenica. In 1993, the UN described the besieged situation in Srebrenica as a "slow-motion process of genocide." In July 1995, Serbs forcibly expelled 25,000 Bosniaks, brutally raped many women and girls, and systematically killed 8,000+ men and boys (DNA confirmed).

STOLEN BOSNIAK TERRITORY

LIST OF BOSNIAK MUNICIPALITIES STOLEN BY SERBS

According to RFE/RL, "Bosnia's chances of joining the European Union could be jeopardized if it fails to conduct a census next year... Bosnian Muslims oppose anyone stating their ethnicity, religion, and language because of the massive exodus of Bosniaks and Croats during and after the 1992-95 war. Bosnian Serbs say including the questions represents a basic human right."

Ever wondered why Serbs and their Belgrade proxies tirelessly insist on the question of "ethnicity, religion, and language" to be included in the Population Census? The answer is simple.

In 1990s, Serbs and their Belgrade proxies ethnically cleansed large parts of Bosnia-Herzegovina and committed ghastly crimes against the Bosniaks. Today, Serbs are anxious to legalize their "hard work" so they could regard traditional Bosniak land as a "Serb territory." To achieve this, Serbs and their Belgrade proxies need a piece of paper, produced through the Population Census, which would legally color the Muslim territory into "Blue." This would enable Serbs to tell the world -- as well as future generations of yet-to-be-born Chetniks -- that Srebrenica, and other stolen Bosniak municipalities, have always "belonged to the Serbs." In fact, even before the war started, Serbs -- who controlled rump Yugoslavia -- re-organized municipalities in Bosnia-Herzegovina by adjoining Serb villages together to form municipal majority as a land grab. That's why you see a lot of "Red" on the map below. (Also see, Amira Dzirlo's excellent analysis in Washington Report on Middle East Affairs)

During the Bosnian war, Serbs kept all Bosniak cities and enclaves under the siege and bombarded them on a daily basis. Snipers were used to deliberately target-and-kill Bosniak women, children and the elderly. Throughout 1992 -- three years before the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide -- Serbs around Srebrenica constantly attacked Bosnian Muslim villages, including the enclave of Srebrenica, with heavy artillery, snipers, and aircrafts. They bombed Bosniak civilians and defenders with everything they had. Serbs were extremely well prepared for the war as they inherited a lion's share of weapons from the Yugoslav Peoples Army. Under these conditions, Alija Izetbegovic - then the President of the Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina - had to sign the Dayton Peace Accords in 1995. The agreement awarded Serbian Chetniks half of Bosnia (49%), including huge chunks of traditional Bosniak territory. Bosniak returnees to the Serb-controlled half of Bosnia were frequently subjected to abuse (see Fata Orlovic case). Now, let's take a look at this map provided by the Office of the High Representative:
