CNN LARRY KING: SANELA JENKINS (SANELA CATIC)
PHOTO: Aid groups and troops from around the world have struggled to distribute food, water and medical care to an estimated 3 million Haitians injured or left homeless in the 7.0-magnitude earthquake that wrecked much of Haiti's capital on Jan. 12, killing as many as 200,000 people.
Bosniak woman, Sanela Jenkins (aka: Sanela Catic), will appear on CNN's Larry King Live show tonight, January 29. Sanela has donated $1 million to Haiti relief and partnered with actor Sean Penn to establish the Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organization to save lives of Haitian people affected by the January 12 earthquake. The web site for the Jenkins-Penn Haitian Relief Organization will be established soon.
As a person who dearly cares about the Bosniak people of Srebrenica, I repeat my calls to Sanela Jenkins not to forget the victims of the 1995 genocide. There are people in Srebrenica that are also in need of immediate help. For example, Hajreta Ahmetovic, born in 1988 suffers from kidney failure. She is in need of funds to afford complex surgery outside of Bosnia. Eighteen year old Adis Junuzovic suffers from heart problems and is in need of medical attention that cannot be provided in Bosnia.
Sanela, if you want to be a hero, then be a hero to your own people who desperately need your help. You have my E-mail. You know what to do. Listen to your conscience and Remember Srebrenica. GOD BLESS YOU SANELA !!! WE LOVE YOU!
