WOMEN BRUTALLY RAPED BY SERBS
| |
| Photo taken on 12 February 1993 by Jon Jones. The photographer took photos of three Bosniak women -- Fatima, Amira, and Jasmina -- who were repeatedly and brutally raped by Serbs in the eastern Bosnian town of Foca near Srebrenica (pronounces Fo-cha). Serbs employed a policy of systematic rapes against Bosniak women and underage girls during the Bosnian Genocide (1992-95), forcibly impregnating them to bear the so called 'Serb' children. * * * |
